About the role
-Working day: 5 Days/week. (Mon-Fri)
-Assist the Quantity Surveyor in carrying out quantity take-off and measurement for construction works.
-Read and understand layout plans, floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings.
-Calculate quantities of construction materials, including tiles, bricks, concrete, plaster, flooring, and other building materials.
-Measure and calculate the number of tiles/pieces required based on layout plans and site measurements.
-Prepare quantity take-off sheets, measurement records, and basic Bills of Quantities (BQ).
-Assist in checking quantities against drawings, specifications, and actual site conditions.
-Conduct site measurements and verify completed works when required.
-Assist in preparing material quantity estimates and cost calculations.
-Compare quantities between drawings and actual site conditions and report any discrepancies.
-Assist in preparing quotations, purchase requests, and cost-related documents.
-Coordinate with the Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, contractors, and suppliers regarding quantities and materials.
-Maintain proper records of measurements, quantities, quotations, and related documents.
-Assist with variation orders, progress claims, and other QS-related work when required.
-Perform other duties assigned by the management.
-Prefer Chinese.
-Minimum 5 Years Experience.
